Small Haul
So I wanted to highlight some of the goodies I've acquired in the last couple weeks. To begin, my new beauty favorite is "The Quickie" Mascara byMOVING FORWORD
When I first opened the tube, I realized It had a thin tapered rubber brush. I was overjoyed, since I loved using my L'Oreal Voluimonous Million Lashes Mascara, for the same reason. The small tapered size of the Kardashian brand worked great to get in close to my lashline.
Off the bat, I loved the way the mascara made my lashes look on the first try. It literally looked like I had fake eyelashes on.
Can I just say, as a girl with naturally long lashes, its a blessing and a curse. Every time I've used falsies, the fakes lashes get tangled with my real ones, because they curl upward. The few times I did manage to get them on, you couldn't even tell I had any on ::sigh:: needless to say, my lashes were lookin' like falsies after a few coats of The Quickie.
Next up
So I didn't actually purchase my next item, it was a gift from my mom. However, to me it is a new product and I feel it deserves to be treated as such : NYX HD Photogenic Concealer
This concealer may appear watery upon application but beware its drying time. Because it drys fast, it can be cakey if you dont blend quickly.
This concealer does a great job of brightening my undereye area, I looked way younger with it on. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing >_<. Anyhow, its a great concealer and I'm glad my mom gave it to me because I've definitely been using it.
I needed a reup of this bad boy(and in a few shades: 210 & 220)
Maybelline "Fit Me" Foundation
Where do I begin to tell you al the wonderful things this foundation does for my life. The other day, I blended it out with my fingers and my skin looked naturally flawless. If I want a super opaque layer, or extra full coverage, I simply blend in a few layers with my Sephora AirBrush Foundation brush. The fact is, this foundation gives you medium coverage, so even with a small amount, you'll notice a differance in the way you look. I have dry skin and I find that this does not make me look greasy in any way, it leaves a soft dewy effect.
Now I wanna talk about
Rimmel London "Show Off" Lip Lacquer
I'm glad I picked this guy up, when I swatched it in the store I was thankful for the color pay off. It's not has heavy feeling as a standard lip gloss and the color I chose matches my lips perfectly.
The last new item I have was a major bust. Its Wet n Wild's Megaslicks jumbo lip crayon. I've been wanting to get my hands on a jumbo lip pencil for a while, and this reminded me of Clinic's Chubby Stick.
When I tried it on at home, it felt greasy, and slid all over the place. Also, I thought I was getting a really pretty dark berry color, but its more like a dark burgundy. It, basically, looks like I ate .... "chocolate"...when I wear this lip product, and that's not a good thing. I have reservations on getting more colors, but I've always been a fan of Wet n Wild lip products. I guess we'll have to wait and see, I may just want to shell out more cash for a better brand jumbo lip pencil.
ANYWHO
That's going to sum up the few new products I've acquired lately, if anyone is interested in a review of any of these products just email me or leave me a comment. Thanks and have a good one

Playing with Makeup
This is how I have my makeup set up, its in my closet :/ But thats ok, my cosmetic mirror gives me plenty of light to do my makeup. Shout out to my little sister Jess for getting me that this Christmas.
Anyhoo, I love how girly and shiny my makeup nook is,but I hate when it looks like this

There's nothing better than playing with your make up on a rainy afternoon. I initially wanted to try my new Rimmel foundation but I ended up creating a drastic eye look using my Too Faced Palette.
Then I used Sorieer over my lid and over the black creating a dark purply blend of shimmery tones. To help blend it out, I applied Woolen Mittens over the dark shadow in my crease and blended out towards my brow bone. I then used Cream Colored Ponies, to make the colors blend seamlessly.
For the eyeliner I applied Urband Decays 24/7 Glide on Pencil in Bourbon into my lashline and smudge it for a soft smokey affect. Then I used Rimmel London's Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer to tightline but upper and lower lashline.
Next I used L'Oreal's Linear Intense Liquid Eyeliner to create a cat eye, and I set the liner with Wet n Wild's Panter eyeshadow, which is a very dark matte black, this mattified my eyeliner.
On my Lower lashline, I traced another Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on eye pencil in Ransom then I used Ooh La Orchid, from the palette, to set the liner.
I blended Ooh La Orchid downward and out and applied a couple of nice coats of mascara(L'Oreal's Voluminous Million Lashes, My favortie mascara ever!
Here is the finished look, let me know if you'd like to see a tutorial on this

Review: A Few of My Favorite Things by Too Faced
A Few of My Favorite Things is a palette from Too Faced cosmetics and it came out in the 2013.
My birthday was in December, which meant I got to indulge in a trip to Sephora, for a little splurge. I initially went in with the intent to buy the new Tarte Amazonian Mineral Foundation and Khubuki brush, but at the time my skin was so dry, I didnt't want to waste the money on something I'd need to use in the summer. I searched around the Naked Palettes, but have yet to find the need to buy a neutral palette. I love bold eye shadow. So I continued walking until I laid my eyes on the holiday gift set palettes from Too Faced. The moment I laid eyed on AFOMFT I fell in love instanly and was then over joyed to see the 2 Blush 2 Bronzer Bonus. To top if off the set brings a mini version of their Better Than Sex Mascara and a Lip Injection Color Bomb in Bee Sting.
Here are all the shades, with their names listed below, as well of a close up of each color. Below that are details of the blushes and bronzers.

Snowflakes, Whiskers on Kittens, Chocolate Milk, Moon on their Wings, Dark Chocolate, Cream Colored, Ponies, Honey Honey, Busch de Noel, Evergreen, Blue Satin Sashes, Coquet,Taffy, Crisp Apple Strudel, Woolen Mittens, Soirée, Tinsel, Bluff, Ooh La Orchid, Party Time, Pure Glam
Moving on to the cheek section, here are the colors:
Raindrops on Roses
Melt Into Spring
Chocolate Soleil
Sun Bunny
Review:
The first three things I noticed right away: there are 3 matte blending shades, the blushes and bronzers, and the fact that I get a cute little bag to put it in, plus the mascara and color bomb.
I love the selection of bold colors they picked, Evergreen, Ooh La Orchid and BLue Satin Sashes, to name a few. It brings a variety of finished like matte, satin, and metallic, and all the colors blend beautifully and are not chalky.
There is some fallout when using the darker tones such as Blue Satin Sashes and Evergreen. The only other issue is that there is no permanent plastic divider to protect the cheek park and the eyeshadow part from touching. This is a packaging issue however, the products themselves are amazing.
I've been using this palette almost everyday since Dec 14 2013. I think the colors blend out well, particularly when I use Woolen Mittens as my transitional color. That is by far one of my favorite shadows ever, for blending.
Final Thoughts:
I definately think I found some new favorite eyeshadows: Blue Satin Sashes, Party Time, Whiskers on Kittens and Crisp Apple Strudal are all colors I look forward to using.
Well thats going to wrap it up, I'll continue using this palette throughtout the year and posting about it.
Until Next Time

Jackie
