Review: The Balm's Shady Lady Palette Vol.1

The Balm's Shady Lady Vol. 1 palette has been my holy grail for about 3 years now!  Its hard to believe but this palette really does last a lifetime.  For $39.50, It features 9 super satin finish eyeshadows, enclosed in a sturdy cardboard box, with magnetic closure and a nice large mirror, mine came broken :(
There are a few neutral colors and some very bold colors such as green, purple, and blue.  The colors are more jeweltone so this is a great palette to have during the holidays.
Aside from the bold colors, for a while, this was my go to nuetral palette.  Even when I had my coastal scents 88 neutral palette, I still found myself gravitating towards the Shady Lady palette.  I love the consistancy of the eyeshadows, which is a powdery silky satin consistency. One thing to watch out for is fall out.  A lot of finely milled eyeshadows have a ton of fallout so no surprise here, but its just a small draw back to this dependable go to palette.  I've had it for years and still use it, The Balm's Shady Lady Palette is a must have for fans of bold eyeshadows, and def a must have in any makeup collection.
Here's a close up, the names are listed below from left to right:
-Caught In the Act Courtney: Shimmer Med Brown with Gold
-Shameless Shana: Med Brown satin finish
-Luscious Lani: A Peacy Tan color with a slight iridescence
-Jealous Jordana- A beautiful hunter green satin finish
-Risque Renee: a beautiful navy blue satin finish
-Curvy Cami: A dark Pinky/Purple
-Jetsetting Jennifer: Yellow based Tan color/highlight
-All About Alex: An olive green satin finish
-Easy Wheezie: a shimmery grey

That sums up my review on The Shady Lady Vol. 1 review.  This is one of my all time favorite palettes, and I hope this inspired you all to go out and grab one!  By the by, I found my Shady Lady palette at TJ Max for about $12 😁
